Fully qualified electrical installers

Covering all of Kent

New Installations & Rewires

We have been serving Kent for nearly twenty years with high quality electrical installations. We are fully qualified up to the latest standards and all of our work comes with an insurance backed warranty.  All work will be properly certified.

Electrical Work Certification

All new electrical installation work must comply with modern safety and wiring standards. Qualified electrical installers have the skills and knowledge to put safety first while following current wiring regulations – protecting homeowners, employees and tenants alike.

All workmanship carried out by us strictly complies with BS7671 – The British Standard Requirements for Electrical Installations.

Electrical Installation Certificates

Electrical Installation Certificates (EICs) show compliance with Part P of the Building Regulations. You receive them for ‘notifiable’ work, such as adding a new circuit, upgrading a consumer unit, or making changes to a ‘special location’ (e.g. a bathroom, wet room, sauna, or swimming pool). Copies will also be filed with the local authority and NICEIC.

Certificates are important because they show that your installations comply with regulations.  If you do not get issued with a certificate for work carried out you may have trouble selling your house at a later date.

All of our work is signed off with building control notification where necessary.

Minor Works Certificates

Some smaller jobs will not require an EIC. Minor works, for example, aren’t notifiable and will instead require a Minor Electrical Installation Works Certificate (MEIWC):

  • Adding lighting points to an existing circuit
  • Replacing damaged cables
  • Fitting a replacement RCD, SPD or MCB
  • Adding a socket or fused spur
  • Most small electrical maintenance and repairs

Some very basic work, such as replacing a switch, won’t need an MEIWC.

Why are we registered with the NICEIC?

Being registered with the NICEIC for both Approved Contractor and Domestic Installer will provide peace of mind through safe electrical installations. It allows us to notify work to Part P of the Building Regulations, and means that we are highly competent and are checked for compliance on a regular basis.

We achieve NICEIC registration by focusing on quality workmanship, coming fully insured, and maintaining accurate records.

To gain registration with NICEIC, a company needs to show compliance with the IET Wiring Regulations.

NICEIC is the leading regulator of electrical work in the UK. Endorsed by the government, it helps maintain standards within the electrical industry.
